2016 State Vocational Champions!

Congratulations to Worcester Technical High School and North High School Boys and Girls Track Teams for being awarded the 2016 Small School State Vocational Championship! A pecial thanks to Coach Snay!

Here are the results:

  • Adja Sackor is the State Vocational Champion in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump
  • Stevanna Bowhile is the State Vocational Champion in the 100 M and Shot Put with a new school record 35' 2"
  • The Girls 4x100 Relay Team of Leilani Torres, Doreen Baubeng, Bernice Mensah, and Adja Sackor are the State Vocational Champions with a new record 50.58
  • The Girls 4x400 Relay Team of Faustina Owusu, Denise Hoxha, Brenda Thomas, and Essence Martinez are the State Vocational Champions
  • The Girls 4x800 Relay Team of Sophia Avril, Erica John, Faustina Owusu, and Pelanie Oungougai Placed 5th
  • Essence Martinez won the Silver in the 400 M and Brenda Thomas was 4th
  • Sandra Jackson was 5th in the Shot Put and 5th in the Javelin with 84'
  • Herlin Rijo is the State Vocational 2 Mile Champion as well as Silver medalist in the 1 Mile
  • George Biney is the State Vocational Champion in the 100 M with a new record 10.98
  • Edward Boamah is the State Vocational Champion in the 200 M and won the Bronze in the Triple Jump
  • The Boys 4x100 Reay Team of Francis Konneh, Edward Boamah, Levone Thomas, and George Biney are the State Vocational Champions with a new record 43.12
  • The Boys 4x800 Relay Team of Brian Chan, Seth Anane, Denzel Kumah, and Jose Rosario Placed 4th
  • The Boys 4x400 Relay Team of Jose Rosario, Yaseen Amella, Colbert Agyei, and Ian Mwalago Placed 5th

Congratulations to all of our Boys and Girls who participated helping us all achieve this amazing accomplishment. Next up Central/Western Division 1 Championship on Saturday May 28th at Westfield State University.
